In the 12 months since the Tri-Cities proudly hosted the 2024 Energy Communities Alliance New Nuclear Forum, our region has notched numerous wins— from forging major industry partnerships & securing key grants, to driving momentum in supply chain development for advanced nuclear.
This week in Idaho Falls, EFA joined Tri-Cities leaders to share these updates with energy leaders from across the country and around the world, highlighting how the Tri-Cities continues to lead the way in the advanced nuclear renaissance. And we’re just getting started. ⚛️
“Just as the U.S. chose the Tri-Cities to build the first fission reactor in 1943, we are overjoyed that Avalanche Energy will build the first-of-a-kind FusionWERX commercial-scale testbed in our region,” said Karl Dye, president and CEO of @TCDevCouncil.
This year's Bridging Partnerships Symposium hosted by the Hanford Small Business Council will for the first time feature emerging, advanced energy projects in addition to the conference's primary focus on Hanford cleanup and associated contracting.
