Today, we had the pleasure to host an event w/ @3M and @EDF_EUAffairs on megatrends & #technology. Great discussion with @MWorsdorfer and @AnnMettler who shared their views on megatrends' role in shaping 🇪🇺 #industry and legislative agenda on our road to achieving the #GreenDeal.

#hydrogen is key in the #GreenTransition offering solutions where electrification falls short. Industry is ready to leverage the current policy environment to invest in it. However, it's not yet profitable on a large scale, funding will be crucial from EU and public sources. 🇪🇺

Pleasure to host the Energy Solution's Summer Reception yesterday. Thank you @Energy4Europe's Mark Van Stiphout for joining us & highlighting the importance of thinking beyond individual policies to guide society on its path to #netzero and to ensure a #sustainable transition.

We also discussed that the #EMD reform does not aim to revolutionise the #electricity market but to tackle the more imminent issues, such as better integration of #renewables in the energy mix, allowing to have more time for addressing structural measures.

Hosted by @EDF and @Viessmann, this week our members had a great discussion on the Net Zero Industry Act #NZIA and the Electricity Market Design reform #EMD w/ guest speakers Joaquim Nunes de Almeida from @EU_Growth and @Pinhopau from @Energy4Europe.

While #NZIA will be critical, our speakers stressed that it is not a silver bullet on its own, and we need to look at the combination of measures instead. This will help us make a difference toward decarbonizing the European economy.
