jayce is so relatable because the minute he struggles as a leader, he goes to his mom for comfort. i love their dynamic even though we barely see it - sometimes your mom thinks you’re being crazy, but sometimes she’s the only one who makes you feel like things will be okay.

people tend to forget that jayce was initially against the hextech weapons. he looks utterly disgusted when mel brings it up... i can't imagine the immense amount of shame he must've felt later on, knowing how quickly his morals changed in service of piltover's agenda.
