In 2014 we provided our services on the Riverview Park and Zoo Gift Shop and have been involved with other projects with the Zoo ever since. We continue to work with the zoo on a number of initiatives, our latest being the addition of accessibility ramps.
The work on the Beavermead Park Gatehouse at Ashburnham Drive is wrapping up! Our involvement with this project goes as far back as 2019 when we offered our services in building the park’s new comfort station. This gatehouse marks the final phase of the park updates.
Construction is wrapping up on one of our sites out in Campbellford! For this site, we provided two of our key services: stormwater management and a servicing plan. We produce servicing plans for a variety of projects from subdivisions to residential to commercial properties.
Extendicare Peterborough is getting a new home! Collaborating with Basterfield, and Montgomery Sisam Architects. Thank you, Extendicare, for giving us the opportunity to contribute to our community, we can’t wait to see the finished product!
Engage participated in Green Up’s Shifting Gears program. Every May, Green Up promotes active and sustainable commuter habits that, in turn, help our community and environment. Engage logged a total of 162 trips and was named as a Top Participant.
Did you know that the new fire station in Peterborough being built is net zero, meaning overall no greenhouse gas emissions? The new station will feature a mass timber structure, solar panels, and geothermal for heating and cooling as the main net zero components.
Engage completed our annual Spring clean-up. We waded into Jackson Creek and removed over 40kg of garbage from the creek and surrounding area! We also planted some shrubs around the creek and flowers in our garden. A huge thank you to our team for coordinating this event!
Cottage Toys in Lakefield has opened its doors and the new store looks amazing. Located at 37 Concession Street, Lakefield, we provided Cottage Toys with stormwater management, site servicing and grading and continue to supervise the final construction.
In collaboration with the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and the City of Peterborough, we conducted site reviews and pedestrian counts adjacent to Kenner Collegiate. Soon you’ll be able to see a crossing just like this live at Monaghan Road!
In 2016, we were given the opportunity to complete work on the Peterborough County Agricultural Heritage Building at Lang Pioneer Village. Brought on by Lett Architects, we completed the site grading and servicing, as well as the septic system layout.
Construction on our 127 Hunter Street Project in East City has broken ground! We have been working on this site for the past few years with Ashburnham Realty and Lett Architects providing grading, site servicing, and stormwater management services.

We’ve partnered with the County of Peterborough and Young’s Construction to put in a new retaining wall just outside of Peterborough. It may not look like much now, but we promise to report back so you can see the final product!
This is one of the road reconstructions we’ve been working on in Norwood. The new asphalt will ensure a smooth drive from start to finish. Centre Line has never looked so good! Thank you to Drains Bros and Asphodel-Norwood for working with us on this project!
The Community Health Hub was completed with help from our partners on the project were @lettarchitects and Gillam Group. We developed a uniquely tiered parking lot design including an underground stormwater management system, sanitary pumping station, and water servicing.

It’s a new year and for some, that means a new home. Last September, Y Lofts opened their doors for their grand opening. Located downtown Peterborough at the old YMCA building on George and Murray, we’re thrilled to have contributed to revitalizing this historical landmark.
Albine Street is getting a refresh! With new curbs installed by Con Mar and the concrete poured out, it’ll be only a matter of time before we can count this street (and project) as complete!
