Today, I joined leaders in Eldoret to mark the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, calling for safer, healthier and more supportive workplaces for all Kenyan workers.
Mental health and psychosocial wellbeing must now be a key focus in modern workplaces as remote work, economic pressures and changing environments continue to affect workers. I call for stronger workplace safety measures following the rise in occupational accidents across the country. Employers and workers must prioritize safety and timely reporting of injuries.
They came, they showcased their skills in workplace fire safety and competed against other workplaces.
Join us tomorrow in Eldoret for the Award Ceremony.

Groundbreaking for Phase 2 of Kenya's Naivasha–Kisumu–Malaba Railway begins. This extension boosts transport efficiency, cuts logistics costs, and cements Kenya's regional trade role. CCCC has long supported Kenya's growth, infrastructure, and friendship.
Fuel shortage in Kenya Petrol Stations is artificially created by greedy & nefarious oil traders that want to benefit from US/Israel/Iran war. No other country has fuel shortage. Unless we buy our fuel on retail every week from the Gulf! Ideally, we should have over 6 MONTHS worth of fuel supply in stock. EPRA must for once exercise its regulatory powers & revoke the licenses of predatory oil traders!
