Al-Jazeera Suddenly Fires 20 Journalists In Gaza
After surviving a genocide and the deadliest conflict for reporters in recorded history, Palestinian journalists were mass fired in the besieged coastal territory.
Yemen leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi:
"We will meet Saudi's full escalation with full escalation... America won't save him. Britain won't save him. Israel, the Zionist enemy, won't save him."
Dental clinics across Gaza are shutting down one after another.
There are no anesthetics, no filling materials, and not even the most basic supplies needed for treatment. In many cases, teeth are now being extracted or treated without any anesthesia because the medications have completely run out.
Who could have imagined that an entire city would reach the point where relief from tooth pain becomes a luxury? Day by day, we are being forced into conditions that resemble centuries past, where people have no choice but to endure unbearable pain.
Gaza is no longer just losing essential services it is losing every foundation of human life. The city is collapsing before our eyes, and what once seemed unimaginable has become our daily reality.
๐ฏ๐ด ๐ฎ๐ท Iran once again thanks Jordanians for โcooperationโ in targeting US bases, as a rare Jordanian open letter demands US troops leave the kingdom
๐บIranโs armed forces publicly thanked โthe people of Jordanโ for what they called cooperation and useful information from inside US bases on Jordanian soil, saying it had โtightened the space on the enemy,โ according to Iranian state broadcaster IRIB.
๐บIran has made similar claims in various forms since a July 16 strike. Separately, the IRGC recently called on Jordanians to look to Palestine and their shared brotherhood with Muslims, and regain their sovereignty by expelling U.S. forces. Analysts and Jordanian officials say Tehran may be amplifying assertions of Jordanian help to suggest it has domestic allies inside the kingdom. Iranian missile and drone attacks on US sites in Jordan have intensified in recent weeks, with a July 17 strike on the Muwaffaq Salti air base killing three American service members.
๐บIranโs messaging appears aimed at supporting and encouraging a genuine and rare wave of Jordanian dissent. The New York Times reported on July 29 that more than 200 prominent Jordanians, including former ministers, members of parliament, and tribal figures, signed an open letter last week demanding the immediate withdrawal of US forces.
๐บThe signatories said the roughly 4,000 US troops in Jordan expose the country to โsecurity, political, and economic risks that serve no national interestโ and risk dragging it into a war it wants no part of.
๐บPublic dissent is extremely rare in Jordan, where the government has long cracked down on free expression, Amnesty International reported.
If your grandfather murdered someone, you do NOT have a โspecial responsibilityโ to help the victimโs grandchildren murder other innocent people, thatโs not how the law works!
A crime is a crime, an accomplice is an accomplice, no excuse!
We need to be extremely cautious about what's currently happening with key climate elements.
There are limits regarding the GMSST & GMST, and these are already being exceeded.
Our stable climate is at risk of taking another leap moving towards a climate devoid of polar cooling.
๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐ฝ Mexico bought more guns from Israel than from any other country last year, even as President Sheinbaum condemned genocide in Gaza.
Amid genocide in Gaza and Israelโs wider regional war, Mexico's government bought more firearms from Israel than from any other country in 2025, according to Mexico's report to the UN Arms Trade Treaty, in an analysis by Stop US Arms to Mexico published in NACLA.
The nearly 18,000 assault rifles, light machine guns, and pistols made up 37% of all firearms Mexico imported that year, more than triple its 2024 purchases and just ahead of the US. Most were bought by state police, as no federal policy in Mexico blocks the imports.
The reliance on foreign arms reflects a security bind: Mexico is fighting heavily armed cartels supplied largely by what analysts call the โiron riverโ of guns flowing south from the US, where an estimated 80% to 90% of firearms recovered in Mexico originate.
Still, the purchases highlight a contradiction in Sheinbaum's stance: her government has elevated Palestine's mission to embassy status and labeled Israel's actions "genocide" in September 2025, yet deepened its weapons ties with Israel.
What you give today may seem small to you, but it could make a huge difference in the life of a family struggling to survive. ๐๐ปโฌ๏ธ

Yemen leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi:
Saudi Arabia called an Iranian medical flight into Yemen a VIOLATION of sovereignty.
250,000 Saudi airstrikes on hospitals, schools, and weddings, apparently, were not.
They bombed a shelter for the blind in Sanaa, and called it a gift to the blind.

๐ต๐ช One day after being inaugurated as Peruโs first female president, Keiko Fujimori has declared a state of exception, dramatically expanding the powers of the military and security services.
Drop Site contributor Joseph Bouchard writes that the move makes Peru the latest Latin American country to impose full or restricted emergency rule in the name of fighting narco-trafficking, a rationale Washington has repeatedly used to justify intervention and expanded security cooperation across the region.
Fujimoriโs decision follows years of pressure from the US and its right-wing Latin American allies for a harsher crackdown on crime, despite Peruโs comparatively low homicide and violent crime rates. Lima, Callao, border regions, and the VRAEM are expected to become the main focus of the operations.
She took office after winning by a razor-thin margin, following three consecutive presidential defeats, in a deeply polarized country where resistance to her radical agenda is already mounting. The state of exception could give her broad latitude to suppress dissent while limiting the ability of Peruโs powerful but divided Congress to rein her in.
The measure also extends the authority of the armed forces and security apparatus, which experts say are already among the countryโs dominant political actors. Under President Dina Boluarte, the military was deployed against protesters and used to carry out massacres, including at the National University of San Marcos in Lima.
Fujimori, who was married to an American, holds US citizenship, and studied at American universities, has also promised to confront Chinaโs growing influence in Peru while granting preferential diplomatic treatment to Washington. She is expected to join Trumpโs Shield of the Americas, a political-military coalition that has become a pillar of support for US-aligned governments across Latin America.
One of her first diplomatic appointments was Carlos Espรก as foreign minister. Espรก previously worked at the US Embassy in Lima. Fujimori is also expected to expand military operations against suspected drug cartels and potentially radical left-wing groups. She has already placed the military, rather than the police, in charge of the fight against crime.
Her father Alberto Fujimori was democratically elected before seizing control of the country through a self-coup. His war against the Shining Path and MRTA unfolded amid the deaths of nearly 70,000 people, repeated massacres of civilians and opposition figures, and the effective suspension of democracy.
Peru's far-right US puppet leader was just inaugurated as president, and immediately, in her 1st speech, she announced a state of emergency to deploy the military locally to maintain "order".
Keiko Fujimori is the daughter of a US-backed fascist dictator who committed genocide.
