@JeffBullerman@WalkerFarms2@jasonlcvcmn At this time, contractually PP can’t do VL. FV has those rights. Gen 3 is fully capable but legally prohibited. For same reason, you’ll notice no hybrid layer on Gen3. Shoot a DM if you’d like to troubleshoot I’ll send my number. Issues here mostly software related & fixable
@StaplesJosh@PrecisionPlant My rocky ground guys had best luck with rock guards in second position and spacing another washer out on the first stage. Also set full control systems to 75ish max psi to help ride over blockages.
Probably the closest we got to planting with moisture in our area. No-till corn in a low area. @PrecisionPlant Furrowforce closing evenly and firming tight clay loam. CaseIH OEM variable slotting and open in places.
@darinstolte I guess I'd have to disagree with you here Darin, this grower knows very well how to set his planter and we wanted to demo with him because of that. There's quite frankly no setting on the Case closing system that will account for our tight clays when it gets on the wetter side.
@LouieDN @cilprecisionrm @PrecisionPlant We had around a dozen machines running demo units this spring. I'll be honest it's been a little tough finding advantage as dry as we were, mellow ground closes easy. Gotta look in the tougher spots. Last year every demo FF row was 2+ days ahead emerge and tassel
You could get a good look at a ribeye by sticking your head up a bulls...well...anyway I married a vet and work on planters instead. Ft. more @PrecisionPlant#furrowforce making the best of some clods on end rows.
Some @PrecisionPlant#furrowforce action from @rsseedsales today. It's not without some consideration for residue flow settings but performing very well here. Eliminating seed trench and providing a uniform path to surface
Mixed a couple strippers in with the planter upgrade projects this year at @rsseedsales. @Harvest_Int_Mfg bars with Yetter fresheners and another with @DawnEquipment Pluribus. All controlling liquid with @PrecisionPlant vApply HD to easily target aggressive VR rate changes
