Everytime there's a jump in open model performance a segment of people start shouting about buying 10k worth of hardware to run "free" models. Do the math. Always cheaper to subscribe. Hardware depreciates fast, it's cost goes up and performance goes down as hosted performance goes up and price goes down. How much GLM 5.2 subscription compute can you get for 10k?

Yeah don't watch how your money is being burned. Listen, use an event driven harness where each agent is feeding a global state with logging, another agent is monitoring and another layer orchestrates it all. The problem with ai cli loops is there's no observability, no learnings. If you are building throwaway frakensoftware go for it. If you are building extensible and maintainable software think more.
