We had 3 couples over for dinner on the weekend (parents of son’s friends)
All millionaires (one from a family closer to $1B than $1M)
The guys wore jeans and t-shirts or sweatshirts. Wives dressed a little nicer.
No Gucci or Fendi or Rolex etc.
No investing talk.
We ate Chinese food (and pie), watched the hockey game, talked about our boys, the Canucks 😭, the Seahawks and other random stuff.
I often see posts asking “what would you talk about if you were with a millionaire” and silly things like that.
Talk about normal things, they’re just normal people.
Friends are not about networking, money, bitcoin, wealth building etc.
It’s about enjoying each other’s company and having a few laughs.
One of my long term goals is 1 Million before 30
For those who achieved this, any advice? Anything you did that you look back on and have thanked yourself later?
Or is this a non realistic goal? My net worth is 55k right now
This way of thinking is a good way to ensure you never hit $7M NW.
It’s always pointless to try to out perform the market.
Sure, take some flyers here and there, but actually spending time “studying” stocks with the intent of beating the market is a complete waste of time.
