I can't speak for their radicals. When I knew them it was about 2 years before 9/11, but the present was 7 years after 9/11.

So, I get it.. I don't like Islam at all and against it spreading inside the United States. But what I will say, is those boys that Pakistan had in their Navy, very down to earth, (Not radical at all back then anyway) and just wanted to make friends.

Of course, we had to be careful not to talk about work as we had classified information at that time that the US Navy didn't want any other Military outside of the US to know, but outside of work, they were very very nice and I enjoyed their presence. As far as their radical islamists, I can't speak about as I never have been to Pakistan or even close to it to see how they are today.

No, it is one of MANY reasons why. If your host is so Narcissistic, that his editorials only spin from one side of the isle, over and over and over again with full disregard of reporting from the center isle, then you can logically make the jump of someone who would literally try to make Zoom ins to make himself seem like some Philosopher rather than a journalist.

1.) This is NOT normal behavior no matter how much you want to spin in

2.) It is a small leap for an individual who does this sort of thing to one who would disregard Journalistic ethics for his own personal political rhetoric.

And THAT is why nobody trusts Legacy media because of that very attitude. We can watch something in real time on X, see the context, then watch 60 Minutes spin it into something it wasn't, just to prove one side's narrative.

Who does that? Grandiose narcissists who think panning the camera in on themselves taking glasses off to make themselves to viewers seem "Intellectual".

Someone who is truly an "Intellectual" doesn't have to put on masks to make themselves seem "Intellectual".

That is his character, and it is as much of a lie and spin as his reporting was.

I wont lie.. When I was in the Navy learning in my A school (AECF ET), I worked with many other Sailors from "allied" countries during training.

The worst ones to work with? The German Navy. Holy fuck, they are the worst. If our enlisted guys walked by a German officer and didn't salute (Its hard to tell in their military from our point of view) they would scream and cry, run to the base commander and get everyone in trouble. They were always picking fights at the bar, mouthy and over confident.

The coolest guys??? The Pakistani Navy.. Those dudes were so nice, they would always buy all the drinks (Even though they pretend they don't drink due to their religion), but I made lifelong friends with some of those guys. One of their commanders son moved to San Antonio and he called me one day saying his Dad told him to call me. The next time I was in San Antonio a few months later for Cowboys training camp (this was 20 years ago), his father gave me a Pakistani ring inside a special case with a note that said how much he enjoyed our friendship.

Why, to this day, I know Pakistan has its issues, but I can't lie, they were some of the nicest, most wonderful "allied" Navy Sailors that I got to train with.

Scott Pelley is the very reason why people tuned out to legacy media. His narcissism and his ridiculous thoughts are so absurd to the American people that people would rather get their information firsthand, rather than their biased edited version read by them as if they wrote it and they are the center of the story given to you by an intellectual on the same plane as Plato or Socrates.

Time to put these people to pasture... Ya'll had a great 20-30 year run ruining legacy media, hand it to people who want to bring actual balance to media and go eat your oatmeal in your old folks homes.
