@grant_christa The most important part is to become the advocate for the OR staff (easy for you, you’re amazing!). It’s about being sure the OR staff is felt heard in the solution, not just dictated to do better by admin. Easier said than done but you’d be a great liaison!!
@grant_christa Also setting up tracking of case and turnover timing. Data can show how and where things need more resources. The big fight is to not just “work the people harder” but instead give resources to areas that are not as efficient.
@_mariahxoxox One day administration will realize by offering extra pay to incentivize the people who want to work during a hazard and helping their dedicated other employees who need to not be there, they will actually save money. Happy and proper staffing improves outcomes and care.
