ELLLO A2-20は200回やる。この辺の基準はあいまい。今回、文自体は単純なんだけど、oatmeal and blueberriesとかpeaches and cream togetherあたりが絶妙に口が回らないので…発音練習的な回として

1⃣ plate → dish
It was a really beautiful plate.
→ It was a really beautiful dish.
「料理・一品」を言いたいならdishが自然。

2⃣taste buds
I enjoyed it with my eyes and taste.
→ I enjoyed it with my eyes and my taste buds.

英語では「目」と「味蕾」で楽しむ、という切り口。

車移動長め。カランの問答が沢山できるぜ！（私は運転しない）と張り切ったが…連日の疲れからか…回答がまったく出てこなく…そして寝てしまった。私の潜在意識は完全に日本語であるらしい

@RoadToOku 私も思ったんですよね。カラオケで洋楽歌えば投稿や日記ネタにもなりますし。だがそこはまだ抵抗感があり。日本語のあの一音ずつのテンポが私にとっては歌みたいです。

2⃣「半年ぶりに」
for a long time in a half year
→ for the first time in six months

3⃣ I forgot what I could sing.
→ I forgot which songs I could sing.

「どの曲」 which songs が自然。

朝から想定外ばかりで、たっぷり学習する予定が…またもやギリギリに。事前にわかってれば対応できるが突発だとどうしようもないよなあ。多書きと発音は潔くスキップ。学習ログ途切れなくてよかった。

直前に教師都合キャンセルを知る

土曜朝は代替講師見つからず、急遽お昼に初先生。

Dictationはキリのいいところまで続けてくれ、Revisionも分かりやすく、New Workも楽しみな先生だった。

こういう突然の出会いが結構面白い。

@Karen_englishAI 長いと保持できない。めちゃくちゃわかります。簡単なことでも、つらつらつなげられると、私の場合完全に処理遅延につきエラー終了って感じです。

The grilled fish was delicious because it's cooked over a robata grill.

今回は「この店では炉端で焼く」という特徴を理由にしているので、it's cooked でもOK。
「今回食べた魚が焼かれた」と言うなら it was cooked。

英語日記で仕事が忙しくて学習時間が短かったという学習ログと同じことしか書けなかった1日。今日という日が終わる前になんとか終わらせたが、全部ハーフって感じだなあ。まあこんな日もある。
