You know, Nana, I genuinely believe Engfa loves her fans. I just think she sometimes struggles with criticism, especially when it comes from people who support her. 😂 A few years ago, a friend I met through the EngLot fandom told me something interesting. Now, this might raise a few eyebrows, so please don’t come for me! 🫣🤣 She lives in Southeast Asia and mentioned that Smileys were generally perceived as being softer in the way they communicate and according to her, having quite a bit of purchasing power within the fandom. We were actually discussing Charlotte’s online selling livestreams and how her sales seemed to outperform Engfa’s. And here’s what made that particularly interesting: Engfa had roughly TWICE as many followers as Charlotte! We’re not talking about a small difference in fanbase size here. Engfa had about double the following, yet Charlotte was apparently generating higher sales during those livestreams. That really caught my attention because you’d naturally expect the artist with the significantly larger following to have the advantage.
She also explained how Smileys generally react when something doesn’t sit well with them.
But here’s where I see things a little differently. I don’t believe it’s necessarily because one fandom is more mature, wealthier or better than the other. I think a lot of it has to do with Charlotte herself, her personality, how she communicates with her fans and how she handles situations when things get uncomfortable.
And that’s not taking anything away from Engfa or her solo fans. Having twice as many followers is impressive in itself and follower numbers don’t automatically translate into purchasing behavior. They’re two very different women with different personalities and naturally, that influences the dynamics within their respective fandoms.
For me, it’s not about which fandom is better. It’s about the relationship an artist builds with their fans and how that relationship influences the way fans respond, especially when things aren’t going smoothly.

Missed her live AGAIN! 😩😂 These time differences, I swear! Anyway, I scrolled through my TL and noticed almost everyone had posted the same edit below. She went to visit her safe haven. 🥰
About that calming, soothing voice of hers, she ALWAYS sounds like that, even when she’s about to give us a good lecture! 🤣
One thing about Charlotte, she’s never afraid to give us a piece of her mind. The moment she said, “Can I say something?” I went AAAAAIIIIII! 😳 Here we go! We’re in trouble! 🤣🤣She’s giving us a good scolding (in a suiting voice) and somehow we’re enjoying every second of it!🤣
But when she said, “I understand everything,” meaning she understands why the fandom is so broken and disappointed, that genuinely got me. 🥹Those few words said so much.
And let’s be real, she knows her international fans can be a little more like 🧨 than the Thai fans! 😆 I swear she’s basically telling us, “Listen, behave yourselves! I’ve got a career ahead of me, new contracts to sign and I don’t need you lot causing international incidents!” 😂😂

But what really made me emotional was when she said, “Let’s stay together, just us. That’s fine.” 🥹That one hit me right in the heart.
Bottom line, what touched me most was that Charlotte didn’t just acknowledge our disappointment. She made us feel that she understood where it was coming from. And honestly, that means a lot. 🥹
Anyhooooo, international fans, let’s be on our best behavior! 😂 Charlotte has spoken!😌
Although, I honestly think we’ve been behaving pretty well…

This was exactly my feeling when she gave that interview at her business. It felt forced, awkward, and something just wasn’t adding up. At first, I suspected 🐢 was behind the whole thing, perhaps for business interests or even to punish Charlotte. But after watching the latest interviews, I’ve changed my mind. I don’t think there’s some elaborate plan behind it anymore. I think both have simply failed to discuss and manage the situation properly.
🏸 obviously felt confident enough to go ahead with it and post. But what really caught my attention was Engfa saying that we don’t know what happened behind the scenes, particularly how she went off over the posting situation and how stressed she was. That’s when it clicked for me. Nahhh, this wasn’t some clever strategy. This was a situation that completely backfired in their faces!
