Midnight politics in Kano:
Former Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has met with Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as rumours of a possible alliance continue to shake the political waters in the state.
With Gawuna reportedly set to join the ADC, this could spell serious trouble for Abba Kabir Yusuf’s political future in Kano.
"I Regret Becoming a Legislator Because of the Pressure to Engage in Corruption!"
Former member of the House of Representatives from Niger State, Hon. Abubakar Chika Adamu, said he regrets serving as a lawmaker because of the injustice and corrupt practices that took place.
He said he has returned to active politics so that they can join hands with the people to identify a better candidate than President Tinubu and support that person in the election.
He added that if Nigerians do not remain steadfast in prayer and action, and if Tinubu is allowed to continue, Nigerians will be in for more hardship and uncertainty.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has advised motorists travelling on the Abuja–Kaduna Highway to use the Kachia–Bwari alternative route following heavy traffic congestion along the corridor ahead of the Eid el-Kabir celebrations. Kindly SHARE!
After Nasir El-Rufai became involved in a case with the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission(ICPC), his lawyers applied for bail, which was granted at the sum of one hundred million naira(100M). However, the Department of State Services (DSS) later detained him over allegations concerning Phone-Tapping he allegedly made to the National Security Adviser, an issue he personally spoke about on national television a few days ago.
Lesson:
If you choose to dig a pit of evil for others, make sure you prepare for the possibility of falling into it yourself. In life, people eventually reap what they sow. Many believe Nasiru Elrufai is now facing the consequences of some of the actions and treatment he meted out to others during his time as governor, and that God is beginning to show him the rewards of his deeds even in this world.
May Allah help us overcome the negativity within our hearts.
Hon @AbuKusada has paid his dues. He has represented well and left a lasting legacy for a lifetime. I am also part of his legacy project and I am proud of what we have achieved together.
While leadership requires competence and credibility, politics on the other hand favors the good, the bad and even the ugly.
That has been the nature of politics from inception of time.
As we move to the next chapter, I pray for Allah to grant us the best of what life has to offer.

“THE PHONES NO LONGER RING”
-Yusuf Buhari, son of Late Nigeria’s President explains what life has become after he left the corridors of Power
“After Goodluck Jonathan made that call to my dad to congratulate him on his victory as Nigeria’s next President.
I used to receive up to 2,000 calls a day from different people. The calls would start coming in as early as 4 a.m. — from old classmates, acquaintances, extended family relatives, former maids, and servants who had once worked for the Buhari family at some point.
There were also callers with bogus, untraceable explanations, but my assistant would simply come up with polite excuses to end those conversations quickly!
But the moment my dad left power and handed the baton to His Excellency Bola Tinubu, the calls dropped dramatically to about 100 a day.
After my dad was buried, they reduced even further to around 20 daily — usually just from siblings and business associates.
The phones no longer ring. Nobody truly cares…”
