@KingVelesI Hey man! Its good seing you stirr the pot again!
Although building your kingdom is undoubtly the better choice.
Most men are to busy complaining and whining.
Which is hard for me to grasp.
Not once have I found a situation in which that method was worth one second.
The final harvest for the roof.
What you do shapes you.
Words could tell what has been done, endured, become
But thicker skin, wrinkels and scars
Are left like up in the sky the stars
Silently life is being told without a single word to unfold
And yet... he used words and wrote
Pre-agricultural human vs. early farmer. The bones don't lie.
Hunter-gatherer:
- Average height: taller by 4–6 inches
- Dental caries: near absent
- Bone density: higher
- Skeletal trauma: hunting injuries, acute
- Anaemia: rare
- Work hours: 4 per day for food
- Diet: hyper-carnivore
- Epidemic disease: structurally impossible (too dispersed)
Early farmer:
- Shorter across every population studied
- Rotten teeth by age twenty
- Thinner bones
- Repetitive strain injuries from grinding grain
- Chronic iron deficiency anaemia
- Sunup to sundown
- Wheat, barley, whatever grew
- Smallpox. Measles. Tuberculosis. The whole welcome pack.
We didn't discover farming because it was healthier.
We discovered farming because you could store grain, grow armies, and tell people what to do.
The logic was always political. The biology was collateral.
@KingVelesI There is no ultimate technological solution. For every technological solution creats new unpredictable problems.
We have seen that over and over and over again.
Morality is a tool.
It serves balanced survival or the justification of idiocracy.
@KingVelesI I made that experience with herding a bit under a thousand sheep.
Yes I had a well trained dog with me but that dog actually often made things worse.
Sprinting had new meaning.
Moisture does to clay structures what broken promises does to character - undermine and erode.
Second picture is the repaired and enhanced wall.
Working on prevention.
