There was a period in my life where I would get blackout drunk and incessantly talk about the movie “Taking Lives” with Angelina Jolie and Ethan Hawke. I didn’t know I did it until people would bring it up later. I don’t recall the movie at all now. What was that about?

I leave it up to the person to decide what they want but I’ve literally always been told to refer to the person before referring to anything else. “Student with autism” not “autistic student”.

@MichaelaOkla I work at a school (not teaching) and the teachers are constantly told to go f themselves, mocked, disrepected. It’s crazy. But there are some teachers who are super disrespectful back. Like as the adults we should respond better but it’s wild here
