Got me riding on a graveyard train. To the underground to make it rain. To make a flowery garland of my pain. And hang upon the memory of my name. -Mark Lanegan
I recorded my ME story for @millionspod so if you are a fellow patient, family member, doctor, or just curious, it is now available here. I would like to thank Rich and @welcomewords for the inspiration. https://t.co/inkuVjQxlD
@AutisminBlack @thinkingautism Even worse, in states like AZ, our private schools do get public money in the form of tax payer funded vouchers, yet they still have no legal obligation to follow IEPs. Awful double standard allows them to get the $ no strings attached.
@McScorer61@CollegeFix It doesn't. That is how many they need to make our jobs impossible and miserable. They are the only thing I hate about being a professor.
@ThinkingAtheist The only people defending this are people who behave this way in their lives. Maybe they all work in HR - we manufacture problems so we can swoop in and solve those problems and then act like everyone owes us something.
@Tazerface16 @MCBC_Austin But this is what happens when you pretend religion isn't a cult (it is), compel everyone in society to bend over backwards to accommodate the cult (using 1st amendment as an excuse) AND enable the cult by bestowing special privileges (no taxes, covering up crimes, etc.). Oops!
@Tazerface16 @MCBC_Austin Bully psychology. Nothing is sweeter for a bully than having an excuse to play the victim. And religion gives them that.
It's sicko shit if you ask me.
@DonHuffines So you want taxpayers to foot the bill so that your cult can indoctrinate kids to vote against the government that provided the $ for the vouchers which pay for these "schools"?
Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.
@autismsupsoc Theory: people who are wired to favor conformity see it as "PDA" but if you're wired to question authority and/or place a high value on independence and autonomy, PDA is more like a healthy mechanism to verify one isn't being forced to do something against their best interests.
@RetractionWatch Wow, a scam within a scam. ABA is already a nightmare (patients report it is mental torture), and now that it has become a cash cow, I can only imagine the next decade of unscrupulous "investors" sucking up every dollar at the expense of kids before the full revolt against ABA.
@Tazerface16 He's just telling us that his pathetic ass would pay for the privilege of getting to insult his detractors. But we already knew that - he paid $44 billion.
@WithChem@schemaly I have brought my husband with me to a few neurology appointments and to the ER. But he gets so angry with the docs for how shitty they treat me (not all but some) that I can't bring him anymore bc I'm afraid he'll get arrested. He'd kill this guy.
@ThePolySolution @melJsaysso@schemaly Your opinions are super stupid. But I'm not suing you bc this is the place to air how braindead you are. Doctors, on the other hand, cannot spout their opinions at work. Their professional judgment is just that - professional. That doctor can push his dipshit opinions elsewhere.
@sibylle_berlin I'm sorry. The vertigo and dizziness we get is so bad, nobody who hasn't experienced it can understand the sheer agony. When I try to explain that you can't even close your eyes or eat a tiny bite of a cracker, all I get is blank stares.
@billy_bob1962@AlanDonn @deej_based @TheRickWilson@realDonaldTrump You're incorrect. I study cults and in order to qualify, there must be a charismatic leader everyone bows down to, "punishment" for leaving or going against the group, and a rigid set of beliefs all must adhere to. Hating someone bc of what they've done is not a cult "hallmark."
@billy_bob1962@AlanDonn @deej_based @TheRickWilson@realDonaldTrump I can't wait until "TDS" gets old. Isn't that stupid shit from 6 or 7 years ago? Whenever I read it I see a loser in a cult repeating something they heard on TV from someone who knows they have a captive audience of gullible dumbasses who parrot everything they say.
