We each carry our own stories waiting to be shared, and one day, I’ll share mine. But for now, let’s embrace the journey of growth 🌱

I asked my husband.
“Babe, if I come home 1:30am, will you wake up to make food for me?”
My Husband rolled his eyes and answered; “Who will pick you up at the airport?
Anything that makes you come home 1:30am means I’m awake till you come. “Is it today? Are you meant to come back home and not meet food?”
Cooking is not his stronghold, but I’m certain I can’t walk in home 1:30am, (whatever makes me stay out that late) and food will not be waiting for me warm.
It’s not something debatable. It’s the barest minimum of life.
Let’s let go of these toxic mindsets of Marriage. Marriage is 2 friends doing life together. Before the 1:30 entry, you’ve been in touch, you understand where this person is, why they’re coming in late and you’re doing your best to make HOME Comfortable for them as soon as they walk in that door…
I ran from Ikate, Lekki to Itamaga, Ikorodu.
This will be the longest distance in my training for Independence Dusk till Dawn 66km run.
