Circa 2019, when football banter was pure and largely free of hate, nobody dealt with Arsenal fans like @Elkrosmediahub & @akaebube
I blocked and unblocked both of them almost every week Arsenal lost, and sometimes I’d disappear from this app for days.
Two of you … ntor!! 😂
I didn't want Arsenal winning anything before. But now, I want them to win the Premier league. I want to attend their victory party because I know they will shut down .
Whether or not they win it, now depends on them. They will definitely beat Burnley next week. Their last game is against Palace who have an European final 3 days later and an opportunity to qualify for Europa League. They will rest players against Arsenal.
The maths does add up to an Arsenal win. Congratulations Gunners 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Once people know there are real consequences for betrayal, they are more likely to think twice.
That doesn’t mean cheating will disappear entirely. It simply means you’ve made it clear that your boundaries are not negotiable.
Reality is that many people cheated yesterday, some are cheating today, and some will cheat tomorrow.
Likewise, many were cheated on yesterday, some are being cheated on right now, and others will experience it tomorrow.
The uncomfortable truth is that, more often than not, the signs are there, sometimes subtle, but there nonetheless. We just choose to ignore them.
Pay attention…..and be ruthless when it comes to protecting your peace.
