@OldGilles I was taken out of school for two weeks for a road trip around Europe when I was 10 and I'm convinced it was more valuable than two weeks of primary school. It was a lot of being dragged around museums and sites. Loved it though - much more than Disney the summer before.
@JoeStephenson96 It's hard with nearly all of them being in the NE though, makes them a bit of a trek for you. Still some great clubs in the division but since the FA (rightly tbf) pushed back on the promotion-dodging a lot of clubs have moved up and it's not quite the same as it was a decade ago
@JoeStephenson96 Rode our luck at times and got some favourable decisions. I've struggled to get to any games due to working weekends but definitely best team we've had since I started going. I've only got Easington left in NL1 to tick off so promoting would be timely! 🤞
@CoryTunts69@Im_RobM He's more likely to be on his way to a Leverkusen or Como than an upwards move given the fact he's basically been a waste of space for two years. If we could sell for not a book loss I'd do it tomorrow tbh.
Earner of money is dead so no effect on them. Receiver of money has done nothing whatsoever to earn it so it is surely fair to tax this free income. Who wants to inherit money anyway? Surely you'd rather your parents just spent it all and enjoyed their life which IHT encourages?
@04gully PSR. A 23 year old on a 6 year contract won't lose value 4 years in, a 27 year old is on their last contract and will likely only lose value.
It means every club is targeting the same players and age profiles so they don't have depreciating assets.
It's shite but that's why.
