From engineering graduate to boardroom powerhouse — Sandile Zungu built one of South Africa’s most diversified business empires. 🇿🇦
After completing matric in 1984, he earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town in 1988, before later obtaining an MBA.
In 2002, he founded Zungu Investments, an investment holding company with stakes across mining, energy, aviation, retail and infrastructure.
Today, the group holds interests in major businesses including:
• 25% of Seriti Resources — supplying nearly a quarter of Eskom’s thermal coal
• Takealot
• Unilever
• Gold One
• THG
• Kelvin Power Station
• Lanseria Airport
In 2020, he acquired 100% ownership of AmaZulu FC, becoming one of the few Black industrialists to own a top-flight football club in South Africa.
Beyond business, Zungu has also donated thousands of food parcels to underprivileged communities, using his success to uplift others.
A story of education, long-term vision and strategic investing. 📈

These illegal foreigners went to march at a police station in Durban saying they fear for their lives😂
But when they feared for their lives in their own countries they didn't march at their own police stations. They just ran to South Africa
I'm happy our police did the needful
