Quote: “This afternoon, I officiated at the groundbreaking ceremony for Kidepo International Airport in Karenga District.
I reminded the wananchi that Karamoja has come a long way from the days of insecurity, cattle rustling and lawlessness. The restoration of peace has created the conditions for the Karamoja region to develop.
The airport will improve access to Kidepo Valley National Park, boost tourism, attract investors, create jobs for our young people and expand markets for local products. Already, more than 1,600 Ugandans are employed on the project.
I thank our partners from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates for recognizing the immense opportunities that exist in Uganda and Africa.” @KagutaMuseveni

Starting a goat farm with Savannah and Boer breeds is no longer just farming, it’s serious business. A pure Savannah he-goat can fetch up to UGX 2 million, proving that livestock farming is a profitable investment when done right. Start small, breed smart, feed well, and watch your farm turn into wealth. Agriculture is the future! 🐐💰 #GoatFarming #SavannahGoats #BoerGoats #FarmingForProfit

Spent the past few days in China again following up on research I have been doing over the last year around green economy systems, sustainability, infrastructure, and urban development.
Interesting experience seeing how concepts we often discuss in reports and policy spaces are reflected in everyday city life, public transport, green spaces, and urban planning in real time.
