U.S. CORE INFLATION FORECAST ALIGNS WITH WALL STREET EXPECTATIONS

The Cleveland Fed's inflation nowcast points to core CPI rising 0.20% month-over-month, nearly matching analysts' median forecast of 0.21%.

Key figures:

* Headline CPI: +0.53% MoM, below analysts' forecast range of 0.55%–0.62%.
* Core CPI: +0.20% MoM vs. +0.21% expected.

The projections suggest core inflation could come in close to expectations, while headline inflation may surprise slightly to the downside.
