In Oceania, especially in the seniors division, we need a “not enough spots”option. Dedicated and talented kids with 900 and 880 cps did not get an invite because after 3 auto invites earned in the division, they finished 14th and 15th. @playpokemon@pokemon@4Chris_Brown
Okay so. World’s emails are out.
For those who made a dedicated earnest effort to qualify, but did not, what do you believe was the leading factor of not meeting the desired point threshold?
This situation cost his son a Worlds invite. Was there any way to have deescalated this? What if it were a Basic Energy, or the previous opponents said nothing was suspicious? They weren't willing to budge for a drop over DQ either (which would have given the invite).
@Wet_Goose Further to this, our school calendar is different to the US etc.
Each IC is right in the middle our school term with LAIC right during crunch time for any AUS student sitting senior school exams. IC attendance more or less means 2 weeks out of school.
As we can see, Oceania is the highest bar, despite having the fewest events. This practically forces Juniors to go to ICs, with it not being as necessary for other regions. Seniors is even worse with 10th having 1180 points this season, 980 after automatic invites were included.
I was asked by some parents to make a post about the difficulty of attaining a Worlds Invite in Juniors/Seniors in Oceania. Within the past two years, Oceania has only had 10 invites allocated towards Juniors/Seniors which doesn't seem fair in basically every metric.
@profpokedad There’s precedent in Oceania for every player on same cps getting travel
Awards and qualifications.
Sorry didn’t get to say hi this time but huge congrats to Quinn on an awesome run!!
Hello
@playpokemon@pokemon
Will you reconsider our seniors division number of invites for next season?
Community ambassador @ciaran_tcg I know you are aware, tagging you because this thread is a very good description of the issues

Making a post about this just cause I think it should be out there but @Pokemon seriously needs to rethink Oceania’s worlds invites, especially the seniors division requirements
In seniors Oceania, including auto invites only 13 players were invited to worlds..

@limitless_robin@SeagroveTCG Thank you for the reply! I understand.. I know a couple of the TOs would be able to share results with you but not sure if that helps.. would mean so much to my kid to have his SPE win and deck recorded on your site
