award winning Piano Windtet with Thomas Hoppe (Piano), Jörg Schneider (oboe), Alexander Glücksmann (clarinet), Sebastian Posch (horn), Christoph Knitt (bassoon)
Our jubilee tour continues, today in Hyderabad. Lovely audience with presence of the minister of culture, nice concert hall and yes, we did love the golden chairs on stage😃
10 years ago a phone call by the director of the Goethe-Institute Karachi caused the creation of ensemble 4.1 Now it‘s time to celebrate our anniversary in our „birthplace“: we will be coming back to Pakistan for four jubilee concerts in Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore and Islamabad
„…listeners experienced an emotionally moving evening, which was equally due to the works and their sensitive performance…“
thank you #badischezeitung for that attentive review! #pianowindtet#benjaminapplbaritone
First collaboration with Ensemble 4.1 on Mahler‘s Kindertotenlieder and Rückert-Lieder in new, unusual arrangements for voice, piano and wind players. Wunderbar! @ensemble_4_1
After a quest of about six years finally, this previously unpublished and kind of disappeared piano windtet is in the hands of ensemble 4.1🎉can‘t wait to try what the music is sounding like #pianowindtet#discoveries#trufflepig

Ensemble 4.1 in #Fulda yesterday!
Beautiful hall, a fine Steinway and a terrific Italian restaurant afterwards to conclude this small, three-concerts-but-many-kilometers-tour in style and good mood. #pianowindtet#avnerdorman#sudbrackmusik#ontour
Ansbach - Fulda. 5 pretty gentlemen in the luxury compartment of a regional train. Concerts going well - it is such a pleasure to be back on the road! #pianowindtet#sudbrackmusik#avnerdorman#ontour
4.1 is descending upon Bad Säckingen! We are arriving from all different directions, and are ready to perform a fascinating and varied program in this beautiful city here in the very south of Germany. Pictures and details tomorrow - when we will be on our way to Ansbach.
