“O’Rourke lied to Texans today when he accused Gov. @GregAbbott_TX of traveling to McAllen for a fundraiser tonight. The truth is, Gov. Abbott is traveling to McAllen this weekend to host his Hispanic Leadership Summit where he will make a major announcement.” - @mark_miner

Two of the most important things parents want for their children are safety & a quality education.

I signed a law defunding cities that defund police along with providing a record amount of funding for Texas public schools.

We must protect & cultivate our future.

Today I approved funding to launch an Election Audit Division within the Texas Secretary of State’s office.

This audit will be the most comprehensive forensic audit in the country.

Ensuring the integrity of our elections is critical to our democracy.

In Galatians 6:9, the apostle Paul simply encourages us to keep on keeping on! Don't be a quitter! Have an "I can do all things through Christ" attitude. God is looking for people who will go all the way through to the other side with Him.

[Ben Shapiro @benshapiro]

The unwillingness of Western citizens to live with any level of risk -- economic, health, or personal -- spells the end of the civilization. Innovation requires risk-taking; building for the future requires risk-taking. Complete risk aversion leads to decadence and collapse.
