professionally observe
"When told something, do not reply with 'I will think about it'. Say 'I will try it'"

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@Darthshadow25 @fizzychicken You assume people don't write shitty bloated, inefficient code, which they don't themselves understand or can even explain to others. And you're completely wrong in this regard, retard

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

Honestly, 100% agree. We don't need ai "friends", we need a useful tool

[4nzn @paoloanzn]

i'll say it. this is the most braindead direction in AI right now

the tech is insane, yes. it sounds human, it laughs, it stops mid sentence, it drops the “uuhh”

that's EXACTLY what's wrong with it

we spent decades making computers fast and precise and now we're paying billions to make them hesitate like a nervous dude

when i talk to a model i want answers AS FAST AS POSSIBLE, AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE. i don't want a fake friend that talks over me

if you want a human experience go talk to a REAL human with REAL emotions. touch grass bro please

and honestly if you're so lonely that you need a machine to fake pauses and laughs for you, that's not a product problem, that's a you problem

this app is cooking people's brains and this is the proof

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@shivambhadani_ We aren't learning assembly. You have no idea how half of the libraries you used consistently work. There is a scope which you decide to operate at. With ai the scope is far more abstract and that is the correct paradigm

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@lakelikeglass19 What exactly was nonsensical about my writing? Also you didn't answer neither of my questions

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

Saying "scientifically proven" renders your argument obsolete immediately. There is no such thing

[Ryan A @lakelikeglass19]

@benbbaldwin Well the point of the tweet isn’t that you will accomplish the task slower. It’s that you yourself will become dumber and slower which has already been scientifically proven.

So. Y’know.

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@lakelikeglass19 Alright, what does scientifically proven means and what constitutes that? Also, do you know what is epistemology?

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@theo @kaygdotorg Maybe join forces to have the polished and feature rich experience of t3 code with gpui for insane speeds and efficiency? Or is that stupid..

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@Gly_Sweet @EtienneTheWolf Being trans is a mental health issue..

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@theo Decompile arc Browser for fun

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@kepano Hopeful for Android release. I have built a plugin for myself, but native would be better)

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@Genericktag @AntiAIRiot @UnrealEngine I track back my characterization of you. Seems like you are one of few who can actually converse. From my standpoint the satire in this case is not of a particular folly, but of a pattern inherent in the system. Hands is a just a local example of it

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@oxenneeers @AntiAIRiot @UnrealEngine Okay I guess..? I didn't find it particularly amazing either, yet it's still a joke. Perhaps not of the highest quality echelon

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@Genericktag @AntiAIRiot @UnrealEngine I know your brain is smooth, but there is this thing called "satire". Have you every heard of it?

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@GeeksGrimoire @Erics_Alter_Ego @PartyPrat You know that thing called market competition?

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@AntiAIRiot @UnrealEngine Or maybe... you know.... That's the joke? Current image models have relatively zero problems with hands

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@prateek_0041 Premise A: I write code by hand, when facing unfamiliar stuff
Premise B: my opinion is correct
Premise C: junior developers meet unfamiliar code constantly.

Conclusion: junior develops need to write code by hand.

It's a logical fallacy called: "appeal to authority"

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@prateek_0041 That's ok, but how does it support your initial statement?

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

Somebody should reverse engineer arc

[Sahaj @iamsahaj_xyz]

bro im still on arc

I need alternatives. what has
- multi-profile switching in single window
- custom keybinds
- amazing UX like arc + vertical tabs

[Entreflaneur @enterFlaneur]

@prateek_0041 Without grounding, not much. Especially since you haven't mentioned personal experience or grounded it on something. At least an anecdotal evidence for support
