I call it an affront to dignity because those who demand 'diversity' and 'equity' in everything view humans as interchangeable cogs in a machine.

They do not respect individuality, cultural differences, or sex differences. They disregard free will, ability, effort, and choices.

The main reason why 'diversity' initiatives fail is ironically because of human diversity. At both individual and group levels.

Even when people are given the exact same opportunities and options, they make different choices and achieve unequally.

Why?

Because of diversity. 😂

5 children raised under the same roof, by the same parents, with the same rules, will end up with different careers, incomes, and lifestyles. Sometimes drastically.

You can't even achieve equality of outcome amongst siblings... yet people expect it across genders, nationalities, ethnicities, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, etc.

Ridiculous. A complete pipe dream and an affront to fairness, liberty, and dignity.
