$ASTS I sold everything. 5 year journey coming to an end. $133 I could have almost retired. At $55 not anymore. But the current market does not give me any positive sign that we will recover soon. I'm sad that I had to pull out. Retirement canceled.
This probably marks the bottom
@PDphillyPhil@bitcoinbutcher1 So was the dot com crash. A drop of 40% then some up and down over a month and eventually the final hammer with a other 75% drawdown
@paulgreeny1983 I'm sorry to hear. Margin/Leverage is really fatal in such a violent environment. I only used very little margin throughout the whole journey and decreased it to zero beginning of this year.
@jpm7019@CKCapitalxx the root cause is different, the mechanics are different but other than that, it feels exactly like the dot com crash. we have now stabilised after a 50% drop with high volatility. Everybody is calling it the bottom. if history repeats, the big drop comes a bit later.
@tradershekki my risk management worked better with $RKLB. bought around $4.x and sold around $90. But the thing with $ASTS is that i can see their path to a positive cash flow. Its just that their path collided with the shaky market
@newerror82@keviinvanhove thank you. i'll need to more than double my capital from here. its going to be a long way. but hopefully somehow doable. just need to make sure to not get wiped out.
@keviinvanhove Where you here when Scott wished everyone a "nice weekend"? That was tough to not sell.
This sell of mine has nothing to do with $ASTS but more with the general condition of the economy. Too many uncertainties. Too much volatility. Too many retail investors that have lost all.
@TheodorusAtheos Well, I based my horizon on their first investor deck. According to that we should be generating revenue like crazy today. Yeah, came out a bit different, but first goal was around 4 years. I guess I'll be back when the market isn't that crazy anymore
@spacanpanman But I'm most probably back in $ASTS. Still a believer in their end goal and I want to be part of it. Let's see after the storm as calmed down at the markets.
@spacanpanman Yep, cannot complain. Just wished I had managed risk better a little bit earlier. I promised my wife to quit my time absorbing job by the end of the year and need some financial stability.
@ASTSHodlerClub Sentiment at $2 was about the company. Today it's about the global economy. Two very different things. At $2 the company was in bad shape, the market was ok. Today it's the other way around
@Berrrbi@Reformed_Trader I'm not. Mental health has sometimes more value than any financial gain. Personally, i don't see how the market is going to survive the next 3 months. That's why I'm out. If structurally everything changes I'll be back in. Will I miss some gains in that case? Probably.
@LuckyStuey Can't complain, my average was very low. $ASTS will definitely not go to 0. They are firing on all cylinders. It's just that the market is on the verge of a collapse. Being a dot com surviver, I fear how this ends for high beta. But has nothing to do with $ASTS individually
@Zet4reticuli@endless_frank Absolutely. Without the momentum trade being on again $ASTS can execute as much as they want. Nothing will move the SP higher.
