Started with the core composition idea:
Two opposing lines of original characters facing each other in a strict one-point perspective setup — almost like architectural concept art.
The goal was to make the characters feel like part of the city geometry itself, using the vanishing point to create tension and scale.
Everything was intentionally minimal and clean at first to establish structure.
Next step was replacing recognizable anime characters with completely original designs.
Mixed futuristic, fantasy, and dystopian influences:
• layered clothing
• asymmetrical silhouettes
• different body types
• grounded but cinematic styling
The lineup started feeling more like rival factions inside a believable world instead of fan art.
Then the environment evolved.
The road became cracked, worn, and dirty — adding history to the scene without losing the clean perspective composition.
After that, the buildings shifted into a semi-futuristic style:
industrial towers, stacked signage, exposed infrastructure, and dense urban layering.
Finally, the sky tied everything together:
heavy clouds + cold atmosphere + subtle cyberpunk lighting to create a tense “before the conflict” mood.
Ended up somewhere between architectural sketching, dystopian worldbuilding, and cinematic concept art.
