🔷 The Bitlayer research team conducted a comparative analysis of cross-chain technology between Bitcoin and Bitlayer rollup assets.

🔷 Due to its trustless assumption, instant settlement, and lightweight characteristics that do not require extensive pre-signing and complex challenge processes, cross-chain atomic swaps are particularly suitable as an important complement to the BitVM cross-chain bridge.

🔷 Atomic swaps provide ordinary users with a fast channel for asset transfers. Atomic swap technology, based on adaptor signatures, can effectively reduce onchain space usage, and offers better privacy than HTLC.
