Your baseball pastime is watching your team’s front office underspend, watching your season end, and then complaining about a franchise that actually invests in its players, facilities, coaching, and fans.
My pastime is logging onto X to read the galaxy-brain takes on why the Dodgers are "ruining baseball."
Every year, the script is identical:
1. Your owner pockets revenue-sharing checks and acts like signing a solid middle reliever is a generational sacrifice.
2. Your team gets knocked out of October.
3. You jump online to explain how elite scouting, top-tier player development, world-class facilities, and actually spending money to win is somehow unfair.
The Dodgers didn't break baseball; they just refuse to use your owner’s budget excuses. Blame the payroll all you want, but at a certain point, you have to admit your team's strategy is tricking you into believing cheapness is a virtue.
Enjoy the off-season. Keep the cope coming.
