🚨 Enzo Maresca asked about the 5pm Enzo Fernandez deadline and whether City will do any business today:
"Not today to be honest. I don't think we're going to do something today."

🚨 Enzo Maresca on Enzo Fernandez: "I have to give you the same answer since day one and it will always be the same; it's a player from another club and I don't think it's correct to speak about other players. At the same time, I don't think it's correct when other clubs speak about our players. That's why I'm not going to say nothing about players that are not with us here” ( Via @City_Xtra)
🚨As of today, the message from Chelsea is Enzo Fernandez will not even be available in the January window if no agreement can be found before 5pm today.

🚨 Chelsea are working hard on outgoings.
Tosin has received interest from multiple clubs. Mamadou Sarr also has loan interest from clubs in England and Europe. Axel Disasi, who is valued at £25m, is also expected to leave.

🚨 No bids still from Manchester City for Enzo, but we need to be attentive every second, every minute as the story could change, let’s see what happens. (@FabrizioRomano)
🚨 Benoit Badiashile to Napoli – HERE WE GO! ✅️
Verbal agreement done with Chelsea: £2.5m loan fee, plus £850k in add-ons and a £23m buy option clause. The salary is also covered.

@Blue_Footy If Enzo leaves, I’d rather see Reece James in midfield than watch Chelsea panic-buy another £60m midfielder who doesn’t fit.
Caicedo + James could be ridiculous.
🚨 There had been a feeling that City could have done a deal for Enzo Fernandez for £105m all in, but Chelsea have informed them it’s £120m or nothing, by Friday. (@MiguelDelaney)
@Alvan812@CFCMods “Santos is not that player yet” isn’t really the gotcha you think it is. The argument is that Chelsea already had a midfielder with the tools to grow into that role. You can disagree, but “I doubt you guys watch our games” cuts both ways.
@LucidRavyn@CFCMods Lol, that’s exactly the point. Santos wouldn’t have been the replacement for Enzo — the argument is that Chelsea already had a midfielder with the profile they’ll now have to spend big to find.
🚨JUST IN: Napoli are looking to finalise an initial loan deal for Benoit Badiashile that includes an option to buy.
Napoli value Badiashile at £17m and are willing to pay a £2.5m loan fee. Chelsea value Badiashile at £30m. [Sky]
@JacobsBen If Enzo Fernández actually leaves for Manchester City, I wouldn't try to replace him with a like-for-like €100m superstar. Chelsea already have Caicedo, Lavia and other midfield options, so I'd target someone who complements Caicedo rather than recreates Enzo.
