I've learnt with shock the demise of my brother Hon. Jakoyo Midiwo. I wish to register my deepest condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. We have lost a resilient fighter who had the gravitas to say things as they were. May my brother's soul rest in eternal peace.

I am happy to be the sponsor of The Kenya Information and Communications (Amendment) Bill, 2019 which aims not only to reduce digital inequality between urban and rural areas but also to improve the quality of telecommunication services that all Kenyans are entitled to.

The Kenya Information and Communications (Amendment) Bill 2019 seeks to make it mandatory for government agencies to use money paid to the Universal Service Fund to support the growth of small technology-driven businesses, especially those owned and operated by young people.
