With all the demands on modern players, it’s crucial they get a minimum standard of rest and recovery.

International Rugby Players are working hard to ensure all players have the right to:

🏉 5 consecutive weeks away from rugby every year
🏉 A maximum of 30 matches per year or one week off after every 6
🏉 Proper communication protocols between club and country so that players aren’t overloaded

We also want to see a certain amount of NON-Contact weeks in the year and mandatory rest periods after international competitions like 6 Nations and Rugby World Cup...and we're working hard to make that happen.
