Hon. Foreign Minister Mr. Bala Nanda Sharma held a telephone conversation with His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain this evening.

The two Foreign Ministers exchanged views on the ongoing developments in the entire West Asia region.

Hon. Foreign Minister appreciated Bahrain’s efforts in managing the situation effectively.

Expressing sincere gratitude to the Government of Bahrain for ensuring safety and security to all the citizens and expats, including Nepali citizens, Hon. Foreign Minister appreciated the security measures enforced by the Bahraini authorities.

Expressing his appreciation for the telephone call from Nepal at this difficult time, H.E. the Foreign Minister of Bahrain assured that the Government of Bahrain remains committed to safeguarding the Nepali community and would continue to take all necessary measures for their safety.

Both the Foreign Ministers expected the ongoing conflict in the region to end soon.
