Exciting projects is an insane way to tell people you getting paid for something else is more important than the money fans spent to go to these shows that you know arenโt easily refundable etc.
They better be launching you into space and not coming back for weeks
what a shame you care more about your exciting projects than the money your fans spent on accommodations and transports less than a month before your tour starts ! this is so so so disappointing
i love the jonas brothers but the way they and their team are doing things is not okay. @jonasbrothers you canโt just reschedule tour dates without giving an explanation. people is traveling from different sites to see you and you just postponed shows for MONTHS later?
FULL STORY of what happened last night in Antwerp, with the fan that Louis called out for being scrappy and who then complained to Louis. This was told to me by a fan who witnessed everything first hand. I am appalled and disgusted.
"Met this girl in the queue and she had a bag with a football and a bag which contained signs and a megaphone, which I thought was weird and I'm pretty sure I mentioned that it'd be rude to use one. Bear in mind, this is well before doors open (hours before), so she could've put it away.
This girl then told me and people in our conversation that she wanted a louis interaction and wanted to try as many things as she could to get his attention.
We lost eachother later in the queue where I found my friend.
Once inside, this girl appears behind me and we accidentally end up back next to each other.
(She was behind me, my friend was next to me)
I won't go into too many details, but before the show there was a lot of pushing and 2 girls behind me (one of them was her) were blaming this innocent girl for it who was just standing still and trying to keep her spot.
That girl ended up crying, which broke my heart. (This also happened after the Academic and after the Lathums)
Some of the pushing came from behind them, but the elbows and hands digging in my back definitely weren't accidental. I however know how to hold my ground.
During the openers she was talking loudly with people around her or on the phone.
During lathums it was so disruptive that I had to turn around to ask her to be more quiet because I couldn't even hear the lathums anymore and I really like them. She did become quiet then, but I felt the judgement.
Between sets she tried to convince a girl in the row before me to get in the barricade line. Which there was no space and would've created more drama.
I think this was mainly so she could try to get closer, I'm not sure. But she was being pushy about it. The girls in front of me did not understand her, so she took it upon herself to talk to the girls on barricade to let the girl in?!?! (She was a bit short and the girls on barricade quite tall)
In doing so she tried pushing past me and the person next to me. But we both put our elbows out and pushed her back. However doing this she eliminated the little moving around space we had left and she was plastered against my back. Like fully. And it was uncomfortable.
Before louis set she pulled the football and the megaphone out of her bag and my friend immediately asked why she had a megaphone. And she said so she could tell louis how much she loves him.
The statement is fine but we did tell her it's really rude to use a megaphone. It's super loud especially when she's screaming in our ears.
She didn't care however.
By this time, I couldn't even enjoy the show anymore and even I had to cry (which is impressive to get me that overwhelmed)
Louis hadn't even started yet, but it had been drama all evening long.
Really soon into the set she got his attention with the football and she screamed about that for an entire song to whoever wanted to hear about it and tried getting to security to get her ball back and then a few more times she started yelling/squealing about her ball and the interaction. Completely distracting me from the show, because, again, she was so close to me.
And then we get to THE incident.
During Louis FITF speech (which he never got to properly do because of what went down) she pulled out the megaphone and started yelling LOUIS multiple times to get his attention and after a few times also yelling I LOVE YOU. Into the megaphone. Disrupting his speech and not allowing the people around her to hear louis speech.
My friend was so fed up by then that she pulled the megaphone out of her hand and threw it over the barricade. It broke off the handle which the girl still held.
While this happened, I was kind of caught in the crossfire.
The girl then punched and pushed my friend and thats when Louis cut in. +
