I often struggle with loneliness because I have faced so much rejection in my life. When people tell you no so often, it begins to wear on you. And when you have no control over the cause of abandonment, it’s painful.

If I could make one wish, I would wish to walk again so I can know what it feels like to be accepted by others. Just for a day.

The worst part of living with MD is feeling lonely. I have friends and family that truly care, but that’s not enough. I want to date and matter to someone for once. At this point, it just feels like a fairytale. I want someone who won’t ghost when things get real.
