Gears of War E-Day was the best of the show.
- A return to masculinity and brotherhood themes
- Unreal Engine 5 and looks great
- Interview said the were focused on the vibes of the original game, inspired by the Mad World trailer.
- New micro level destruction system: chip away at cover.
- Seeing Marcus and friends start off as civilians was cool.
- They build an entire city for the game.
- New movement and cover systems, focusing on fluidity and adding jump.
- New gore system.
Making it an exclusive felt right, feels like they are a console maker again.
We are so so screwed 😂😂

@HennyGuardians@TheAssassinAK47@shinobi602 You just don’t get it, Xbox is selling you a service. They are making 23.5B$ in revenue compared to PlayStation making 28 - 31B$. Xbox is narrowing the gap each time. Even Nintendo isn’t in that ballpark. And you’re talking about a Console Sale? Cmon
@mrpyo1 What’s to be confused about? They’re trying to make money and still satisfy its core fan base. They want to see what games work on a broader market and when they get them hooked they’re going to put the exclusivity mark on their next console.
@TheAssassinAK47@shinobi602 Talking out of your ass. Xbox is not much behind in revenue in gaming than PlayStation and they’re only getting closer whether you like it or not. For a company that YOU think is so poor in any sales they’re doing pretty good and that’s without selling any consoles.
