@CntryBearMan71 @Uhhhhhhhoksure The point is the parks aren’t designed for 46 year olds who loved them for the last 40 years. They’re designed for 6 year olds to love for the next 40 years.
I am abandoning my account. This community is toxic.
All people want to do is fire off whatever random “thought” pops into their head and be validated for it.
I have no interest in being around wallowing in negativity.
Good luck to you all.
These screenshots prove my point entirely. You can’t just say whatever you want and go “that’s my opinion.”
“Michael Jordan was a terrible basketball player. That’s my opinion.”
Also, wallowing in negativity is completely unhealthy.
Having an opinion is not just “I like this” or “this is terrible,” especially in a forum that is built on discourse.
Opinions need to be based on reasonable and healthy foundations.
I will always call out destructive and harmful “opinions.”
How we talk matters.
@NickChaps96@BeastCoasters I will never understand how random people think they know where something belongs or not in a park they don’t own or design.
If a guy decides to put his kitchen upstairs, you don’t tell him it belongs downstairs. It’s his house and his kitchen. He decides where it belongs.
I have just seen Fantastic Four: First Steps 👀
This is the FF film we’ve deserved for 25 years. One of the most faithful adaptations that leans into its retro futuristic style and delivers character in every scene
If someone does her job well and doesn’t violate any behavior contract with her employer, it’s no one’s business why she wants that job or what she does with her paycheck.
This perspective is more Purity Test BS (a trend that is prevalent in Disney fandom but not limited to it.)
The Fantastic Four: First Steps is one of the best Marvel movie of all times because it doesn’t try to be a Marvel movie.
And yes, I believe this version of Reed Richards was partially based on Walt Disney.

Is it just Disney or is there a decline in everything?
I’m not absolving Disney. Every individual is responsible for the quality of the world s/he lives in.
But if every individual is ruder, meaner, lazier, dirtier, etc, how much can you expect someone to beat a wall at tennis?
@NickChaps96@___Gestalt If you have been going to Disney parks regularly for the past 30yrs you can clearly see the decline in every aspect across WDW and it’s sad..
@CbCtravels@tksentinel@JonasJCampbell The Variety tweet isn’t even about creative—it’s about the financial context of Disney’s entertainment deliverables.
All they found was shrines to Splash Mountain and the Rivers of America at Walt Disney World.
(At least @OffhandDisney knows that Living with the Land will never be redone now as its sequel’s name is tainted.)
The office of Arkansas’ Republican AG Tim Griffin has found no evidence that Return to the Land, a Whites-only private membership association founded in the Ozarks, is breaking the law, in a preliminary review.
Griffin initially suggested that the community was engaged in “racial discrimination” against non-Whites.
