@JDVance Don’t blame the state and local officials- those are the people of the community talking. They don’t want ICE to be there, because they’re not making any Americans’ lives better by deporting people living and working in these communities.
@JDVance And once they sense somebody resisting their orders, they get pissed, retaliate with much greater force than needed. I’ve witnessed it in person numerous times. It’s a male trait and it is difficult to overcome that trigger reaction.
@JDVance They didn’t need to shoot her- she was no threat to them as she was driving away. How many times have we heard police officers claim self-defense and then watch the video show otherwise? These are men who are amped up on adrenaline.
@LeadingReport Read the full details about it before claiming it’s a Democratic fraud- going on since 2004, most are registered Republicans ….

@bls_instructor@grahamwalker@DrHowieMell@American_Heart The likelihood of survival with good neuro outcome of a patient in cardiac arrest is 1 in 20 or less. Patients with Covid- about 0 chance. So why risk a HCW life for such low risk?
@primadonna001@Boris_Sanchez@EMSwami Health care systems will require workers to return to work while still sick because they don’t have enough staff to cover while they’re out. That’s what’s driving these guidelines.
@mrotzie While I truly enjoy all the witty responses, I think the more effective response would be to ask her “Why?” Let her try to put her reasons into words and then discuss. People usually soften when you engage them without attacking. If we can change one person at a time ...
@Filthy_Oar 2 problems:
1. Getting covid perpetuates the spread, prolongs this pandemic and may lead to somebody else’s death
2. People who get covid by not following guidelines still seek medical care expecting health care workers to bail them out
@NeilAxelrod @DocFlynnNFL Agree with living free but 2 problems with that:
1. Getting covid perpetuates the spread, prolongs this pandemic and may lead to somebody else’s death
2. People who get covid by not following guidelines still seek medical care expecting health care workers to bail them out
@NeilAxelrod @DocFlynnNFL That’s not accurate. See this list of death rates by state georgia is up there. A lot has to do with population density- harder to socially distance in NY/NJ area than Georgia.
