@realDaveReilly There can be no tradition without communion with the successor of Peter, the Pope. To deny Vatican II, one would have to assert that all Popes from John XXIII to Francis were not Popes, and therefore neither Leo XIV. Implicit and baseless sedevacantism.

@realDaveReilly It is a mistake to claim that Vatican II can be disregarded because it did not proclaim any new dogma. The fact is that its texts make extensive use of pre-existing dogmas. By rejecting Vatican II, one rejects certain truths of a dogmatic nature, i.e.,truths of obligatory belief.

@realDaveReilly There is nothing more "traditional" in Tradition than the motto "where Peter is, there is the Church." To ignore or disregard the texts of the Second Vatican Council is to mock the Holy Spirit, since they were written by the successors of the Apostles gathered in Council.

@RoiChrist34672 No puede haber tradición sin comunión con el sucesor de Pedro, el Papa. Para negar el CVII deberán afirmar que ni Juan XXIII, ni Pablo VI, ni JP I, ni JPII, ni Benedicto XVI ni Francisco fueron Papas, y por lo tanto León XIV tampoco. Por ahora, sedevacantismo implícito.

@RoiChrist34672 Es un error afirmar que se puede obviar el CVII porque no proclamó ningún Dogma nuevo. Ocurre que sus textos hacen un amplio uso de los dogmas preexistentes y por lo tanto, al negar al CVII, se niega algunas verdades de naturaleza dogmática, o sea de creencia obligatoria.

@RoiChrist34672 No hay nada más "tradicional" en la Tradición que el lema "allí donde está Pedro está la Iglesia". Desconocer o menospreciar los textos del Concilio Vaticano II es burlarse el Espíritu Santo, ya que fueron elaborados por los sucesores de los apóstoles reunidos en Concilio.
