L'@epflracingteam remporte la 4ème place à la Formula Student Switzerland, qui s'est tenue mi-juillet à Zurich. Il s'agissait de la première compétition de l'année pour l'équipe, qui arrive même en première place pour l'Autocross et en seconde pour le Skid-Pad.

Last week, EPFL Racing Team unveiled its single-seater racing car, Mercury. The students will take part to the @FormulaStudent university engineering competition this summer.

Here are some pictures of the infusion process of the lower part of the rear wing. To properly manufacture this piece, we need the best vacuum possible in order for the epoxy to reach every corner of the wing.

New wheels for the new car. Going from 13’’ to 10’’ considerably reduces our unsprung weight and will also give us a faster acceleration; a 6.96kg loss overall. Even lighter home made wheels are in development right now ! Stay tuned.

The Edition of Forum EPFL was also an occasion for the whole team to be reunited; in the following days we will present to you the members involved in each division. The perfect occasion to get to know this new team !

In order to qualify for each Formula Student competition, we need to pass some quiz examinations in january. To be as well prepared as possible, we organise every weeks a training session on Mondays. Here are some pictures of our members taking part in it.

For this 38th Edition of @ForumEPFL we will be exposing our car on Thursday and Friday (8-9), it might be one of our only events we might participate in due to the global sanitary situation. Make sure to come say hi ! We will be pleased to answer any of your questions.
