Till date I still don't understand how some Arsenal fans don't see Viktor Gyokeres as an elite striker just because he isn't elite at holding the ball up or linking play.

If Mikel Arteta isn't demanding that he drops deep and becomes a false 9, then why are we judging him primarily on those attributes?

Give Gyokeres what an elite goalscorer needs: service, runners around him, space to attack and the freedom to stay high and punish teams.

This is a striker who scored 21 goals in 55 appearances for Arsenallast season, including 14 league goals and 5Champions League goals, 1 FA Cup and 1 Carabao Cup goal

If he gives Arsenal 25-30+ goals while doing what he does best, why would I care if he isn't Harry Kane with his back to goal?

Sometimes we overcomplicate football. If the striker's job is to score goals, let the elite goalscorer score goals.

Arsenal, if this was 3-5 years ago or even years back, there would have been genuine panic looking at these fixtures.

But Not anymore.

You can make a serious case for Arsenal beating every single team in this group. Real Madrid, Bayern, Dortmund, Napoli, Sevilla, Lille, Galatasaray, Slavia none of them feel like a fixture Arsenal should fear.

That tells you everything about how far they have come.

Ogogo’s Daughters And The Entire Family Deserve Applause.

We all followed Ogogo’s health struggles, but his daughter Kira and Lima — who was very close to him — never felt the need to put his private moments on the internet.

That is maturity. That is what a genuine bond looks like. Love does not always need an audience, and empathy does not have to be performed on social media.

In a time where everything has become content, and the "camera syndrome" has turned even grief into clout, Kira and Lima chose dignity. They chose to love their father’s privately, not publicly.
