@MoseyDm Rules - 3; Creativity - 4; Voices - 2; Story - 5; Adjusting - 4; Mood - 4; Challenges - 2; Puzzles - 2. Challenges have been a problem coz the dice are so swingy in either direction. I think, the fight should be good then it's over in 2 rounds, player's aren't even hurt. π

@thejacobshelby That's what I do, when I put together a starter brief to introduce the world and where the players are, I ask them to figure out why they are where the adventure is starting. How did they get there, that way when we play it's already done and we can begin on the road (whatever).
@friede@LauraBaileyVO ...the professional acting and deep roleplay, but seeing Matt's style is how I envisioned playing but didn't know how to articulate it. Ran my first session during covid and have been DM'ing since.
@friede@LauraBaileyVO Not quite what you're looking for, I think, but after I started watching CR, seeing Matt DM validated the way I wanted to play. I'm 50 and have been in the hobby since AD&D but hadn't played or DM'ed because I thought I was doing it wrong. Not an actor either so I'm not doing...
@BDaveWalters I can see myself bounce between Ranger and Rogue, halfelf is on point, but NE?! I expected CN, maybe CG on a good day. I need to rethink my life then π
@SageAdviceDnD Find Familiar states the familiar can't attack but caster can channel a spell through it. Chain Warlock Find Familiar states the caster can forego an attack to allow the familiar to make a reaction attack. Is it using the creature stat block attack, i.e. imp?
@dieworkwear These sound like the same "tough" guys who get all butt hurt about not being able to get a table with their back to a wall so they can scope out the restaurant for dangers. So edgy and Jason Bourne-like π€£
@ShannaGermain Presumably, after a Zumba class, probably an online meeting about an ongoing project? So maybe there is an email or slack message you can find? (I don't know, just trying to help trigger a memory) good luck! π
