When I run games at conventions, I sometimes get in my head about it
When I run games for Limithron, they encourage surveys and then share the feedback so we know where we can make changes.
My Gamehole con surveys reminded me that maybe I don’t suck at this.
@newbiedm I was told the other day that my knowledge of the setting was a good chunk of the reason I was brought on. Eberron was my first setting, I got into this RIGHT AS the promotions for it began. LETS FUGGIN’ GOOOOOO
@newbiedm I dunno that Lucio parillo art in the 3.5e Dragonmarked book of a half orc with slicked back hair and a trench coat was always pretty awesome to me 😜
“Don’t forget to pull your exercise book up”
“I did”
“You have your exercise book yeah?”
“Yup”
(Later)
“You need help? Ok. Pull up your screen so I can see. Where’s your exercise booklet”
“I never pulled it up”
“Neat lie. Let’s do that first.”
@ViktorGorchev Was watching a video once where a TTRPG influencer was talking about the old design vs new design, comparing 5e to older editions with the argument that 5e is too wordy and I remember thinking of basically what you presented here and laughing really hard.
We’re hiring! Roll20 is looking for a passionate and strategic Community Manager to join our team (Remote: US & Canada). Know the TTRPG space, love building communities, and thrive on creating engaging content across social channels? Join the adventure!
