Blockchains are nowhere near being able to handle real world payment volume and definitely not something we could rely on to pay for a coffee at the coffee shop.
Current generation blockchains are too slow, too expensive and can't scale. You might say "what about Solana" or "what about X". The truth is Solana can only do about 400 tps of real transactions and it has proven to be very unreliable.
Solana is broken. Ethereum gas fees are so high that it's essentially unusable. Cardano is going to zero.
Meanwhile, #Bitcoin issues a new block every 10 minutes like clockwork.
This isn't rocket science, folks.

Complexity is an often overlooked aspect of a system because usually someone else is paying the price for it, not the person creating it.
But don't be mistaken, someone *is* paying the price - whether money, time or mental capacity. They might not be willing/able to do forever.
