Pastor at Epic Life Church in N. Seattle, servant to One God, husband of one wife, father of four boys, friend to many, envisioning, creating, Living Life Loud!
Meet 38-year-old Bonnie Pierce. She ran out of her burning home in St. Paul last week, only to realize her toddler was still inside. Without hesitation, she ran back in.
Firefighters found her 15 minutes later unresponsive on the floor of her burning house, her body wrapped around her baby’s. She didn’t make it. Her daughter did.
Since everyone seems to have forgotten, THIS is what a good mom looks like.
@Justin_the_WL It's strange to think about the meaning of a remnant. But I think it's legitimate that less than 1% of the city of Seattle attends a biblically faithful church.
@elonmusk It almost seems like humans were designed by a creator, and not just evolved from nothing. Unless these robots have been evolving without us knowing it.
Charlie Harger (@KIROCharlie) came in as a skeptic. Years of watching Seattle promise to fix downtown and not fix it. Then he walked it this week, and the city actually looked the way the brochures always promised. Turns out Seattle cleans up just fine when FIFA's on the phone. The question is, why only then?

My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us!
I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around.
I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it.
Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought.
We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!!
Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ??
Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity."
Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in.
When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided.
My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress.
Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country.
People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism.
Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism.
We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."
Scientists mapped a piece of brain the size of half a grain of rice.
One-millionth the size of the human brain.
It took them a year and over 1.4 million gigabytes to scan it.
They found over 57,000 cells, 150 million synapses, and even some new structures they didn't know existed.
Mapping the entire human brain in this level of detail would require all the data storage generated on Earth in a year + a 140-acre data center.
But the human brain itself can hold up to ~2.5 million gigabytes of information - enough for ~3 million hours of HD video or 342 years of continuous viewing.
It can process roughly 10 quadrillion calculations per second - enough processing power to run over 4,000 high-end gaming PCs all operating at peak ability.
And it only runs on the amount of power needed for a single dim light bulb.
No technology even comes close to doing what the brain can do.
The more we learn about biology, the more complex it becomes.
This is God's Glory on display.

Christians are being massacred by Muslims in the African nation in the most horrifying manner!

🚨 Texas Education Board Showdown: The Fight Over the Bible, Truth, and Our Children’s Minds
“Where in our founding documents is a national religion identified?”
That was the aggressive “gotcha” question a hostile Texas State Board of Education member fired at a witness today.
The witness began by citing historical facts about Connecticut’s state church… but the board member cut him off, invoked “freedom of religion,” and smugly told everyone to “read more carefully.”
Then Mr. Green stepped up and dropped the hammer: A University of Houston study of 15,000 founding-era documents proved the Bible was quoted 34% of the time - more than Montesquieu, Blackstone, and Locke combined.
Benjamin Rush, signer of the Declaration and Father of America’s public school system, declared the Bible should be the primary textbook in our schools, because “it works” and produces a good society.
While CAIR-linked groups and Marxist unions demand Sharia-friendly lessons, transgender ideology, and anti-American revisionism in the TEKS… some board members are desperate to erase the very foundation of Texas and America.
This is the fight for our children’s minds. Adopt the strong classical literature list.
Include the Bible.
Approve fact-based TEKS. Choose education over indoctrination. Texas parents are watching.
