@codewithvoid There might be some decent colleges out there for it, but a lot of courses are a waste of time... Time that could be spent learning by DOING.
@codewithvoid Yep, college is an epic fail yet degrees are often part of job application requirements. You could spend 4 years actually learning development properly and actually have experience, but instead you practically fall 4 years behind.
@scrumtuous I love Intellij! It's the best in my opinion. The autocomplete, double shift, project wide search, refactor options, linting, intellijent warnings, debugger, and so much more have saved me countless hours. It pays for itself 100x if you code everyday.
@StevenGreen31 @muchirajunior@TheJackForge That's impressive. Intellij was just released in 2001. The point is, there are better tools for the job today, but each to his own.
@StevenGreen31 @muchirajunior@TheJackForge Have you ever used Intellij before? And worked on large projects? It's a life saver...
I get it if you are just working on a small project, but I'll still use a tool to do the job faster myself. 😀
@muchirajunior @StevenGreen31 @TheJackForge Yeah I agree, it depends on what you are doing. For me any coding I do can be done pretty much the same on any platform really. Don't get me wrong I am a Linux fan, but I prefer MacOS for the every day.
We had a great day in Cherokee, Gwinnett, and Walton Counties yesterday! Thank you to @JohnKennedyLA and @votetimscott for stopping by the Peach State. The momentum is strong for @TeamHerschel but we need everyone to GO VOTE TOMORROW!
@esteecodes @TheJackForge Kali Linux is the best for cyber security stuff. Mac would be a waste of time for that, but Mac streamlines daily tasks and work.
