Who is the genius behind this ticketing plan?
I was one of the first members to jump online and book tickets as soon as they became available.
Straight away, I noticed that the entire western side of the stadium was unavailable for booking.
Then, around 24 hours later, they suddenly released the upper level.
And yesterday, they released another three sections on the lower level, which technically means some of the best seats in the stadium still haven’t even been made available yet.
So apparently, being an early bird and booking early as a loyal member means you get “rewarded” by being forced to choose from whatever seats they decide to release first…
Meanwhile, people who waited, didn’t rush, and are only jumping on the bandwagon now are being rewarded with much better seating options.
Amazing strategy. 👏
First time I’ve seen “book early for the best seats” work completely the other way around.
Good job.
🚨 TICKETS EXHAUSTED… for now 🚨

Hey Ben, two Victorian teams are playing in the Australia Cup Final and the game is SOLD OUT! ⚽️
Football doesn’t always get the media attention it deserves in Australia. How about coming along and supporting the occasion? Your attendance could help shine a bigger spotlight on the game.

This is SO BIG! 🔥🔥
Less than 2,000 tickets left for the Australia Cup Final!
Accurate number as of 5:00 pm: 1,953 tickets remaining

(No, I didn’t actually count them 😂 I just dropped the image into AI and got it to accurately count the remaining seats.)
This is going to be a massive night — the atmosphere should be unreal! 🏆⚽🔥
@10SportAU You do realise that when your team loses, it means the opposition team won, don’t you?
What didn’t work for you clearly worked for another team. Maybe instead of blaming Australia, ask yourselves what you did wrong and what you could do better next time.
Just be reasonable with the pricing and give this game every chance to sell out.
It’s a golden opportunity to create some real hype around the game in Melbourne and bring fans back.
The last Australia Cup Final I attended between Victory and Macarthur was a disaster in terms of attendance. This time, with Victory and South Melbourne involved, there’s a real opportunity to create a great atmosphere and showcase the competition in front of a packed stadium.
Price it right, promote it properly, and let’s make it a sold-out game.

@gomvfc This is horrible. What ambition is there in moving to Germany’s 3rd tier? The A-League isn’t the best, but surely the quality is higher. Nich has potential for a much better move if he’s patient and puts together one strong season this year.
Is this a serious suggestion , to even consider hosting a World Cup without Melbourne?
Okay, if this isn’t clickbait, let me explain a couple of things. I’m actually surprised that, as Victory fans, you dont already know this.
Firstly, AAMI Park was built with the surrounding infrastructure ready to support a future expansion to around 50,000 seats if required. It would not require a full demolition of the stadium (it would mainly involve a major structural rebuild, particularly around the roof and seating capacity)
Toronto’s stadium is a good example. It was sitting at around 27,000 capacity last year, and within about a year it was expanded to around 55,000.
Even Marvel Stadium was designed from the beginning with movable seating. The ground-level seating can be converted from an oval configuration to a rectangular one, and its capacity can reach around 48,000, which is above FIFA’s minimum requirement.
So even without considering the MCG — which, to be honest, would be a terrible viewing experience for a World Cup match either way — Melbourne could easily host World Cup games, either through adjustments to AAMI Park or minor changes at Docklands.
Honestly couldn’t have worked out any better for Melbourne Victory.
Home elimination final at AAMI, City finished below us, and if both City and Victory win their elimination finals and semis, we could get another Grand Final at AAMI.
Wishful thinking, but the chance is there.
Go Victory 💙🤍
After 26 rounds, this is how the Isuzu UTE A-League ladder looks 👌
Adelaide will enjoy a week off, along with Newcastle, after securing a top-two finish

The most ideal outcome for tomorrow’s games would be:
• Melbourne City FC win, Adelaide United FC lose
• Auckland FC win, Sydney FC lose
That would make the table:
1. Newcastle Jets FC
2. Auckland FC
3. Melbourne City FC
4. Melbourne Victory FC
5. Adelaide United FC
6. Sydney FC
This would mean:
• We secure an Elimination Final at AAMI Park
• And if BOTH Melbourne City FC and Melbourne Victory FC win their Elimination Finals, then also win their Semi Finals…
• The Grand Final would once again be at AAMI Park
Very difficult scenario, but these would honestly be the perfect conditions.
@englandcricket England winning one Test after going 3-0 down and celebrating 🍾🤡 like they’ve just retained the Ashes. Love the optimism lads, but the series ended a week ago. 😂
Mate, Australia’s already got the urn. This is just damage control. 🇦🇺🏆

@kayosports Kayo Sports, Service been down for over 2 hours and not a peep from you guys. No updates, no apology, nothing. How hard is it to just communicate with your customers? This is shithouse. #BBL15 😡😡😡😡
All we need right now is a proper striker and we can turn the season around. Unpopular opinion but the team is not as bad as a lot of Vucks reckon. Matta is a genius maestro. The most disappointing part was the crowd - just 2 years ago we had a sellout Christmas derby and today was a disgrace. Vucks need to turn up and show some support.

@piersmorgan@englandcricket As soon as you posted this, I knew Australia was going to smash you.
They really need a new word “Ozphobic” just for Piers Morgan and that tired stereotype.
The more you hate on us, the more we shine.
Wait until tonight and watch what happens when Oscar kicks Lando’s arse.
@piersmorgan Cry harder, Piers.
Cricket is Australia, Australia is cricket, it’s in our DNA.
It’s been that way forever, and it’s staying that way.
Keep carrying on like this and you’ll end up properly Oz-phobic, mate.
The more you hate, the more it just cracks ur own heart.

@NRL What did I just watch?!
One of the best prelim games ever.
Unbelievable second half from the Broncos — and that packed stadium + fans took it to another level.
